I’m named after my Mom’s Mom. Grew up in the suburbs/city, live in the country. Found it very hard at first. I love writing! I’m interested in global sustainability and try to reduce my own consumption (it’s amazing how your awareness is raised when you have your own water well and septic tank… suddenly connections are made…). I practice yoga. I’m vegetarian but will let my kids decide their own philosophies of life. We don’t feed them meat at home but they often have meat when they’re at other people’s places. I’m a Capricorn – “old goat,” i.e. eat everything in sight, can manoeuvre the rockiest hills (metaphorically speaking), and look grumpy a lot. Luckily don’t have a goatee though.
